If people are interested, I can present the open source enrichment plug-in that I have written for Ex Libris Primo. The plug-in works with raw XML data as well as an HTTP based GET request to a Solr search server for data. I am happy to run a live demonstration as well.

Sure we can do that – am quite happy to do some stuff on use of Evergreen with pre-installed system, Paul Johnson could equally easily include or do something parallel on installing from scratch & getting data into a new install – surprisingly straightforward & very quick indeed if you do it from a base [...]

That would be great Mark – definitely take you up on this, so please keep 25th free! For those who just want to dive straight in with the client (and not worry about the install) perhaps we could have at least one system up and running in advance?

As per recent twitter convo, we could do something on installing Evergreen image in virtual box (from http://bit.ly/ddGqjP), putting some marc & item data in there & runnning the Evergreen client against it to give people a hands on look at the system.. with a small amount of work we could probably also hook up [...]

Since it has been a bit quiet on this front, I just thought I’d post to confirm the event is definitely going ahead, 25th Jan at the NeSC e-Science Institute in Edinburgh. Sessions and format is under active discussion at the moment and hope to have something to post very soon.
